We started this project due to something that has affected the majority of the world. Hack Kosice (one of the biggest student hackathons in Europe) was postponed as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak. And Kosice Digital was born.

The aim of this new hackathon was to find ways to fight the effects of the pandemic, whether that be in regards to obtaining services, or on the impact it has on people. We decided to focus on the latter. Forcing people into quarantine and isolation have caused many to crave human interaction and mental health to suffer. Our app hopes to bring people together, even when apart.
